Subject Intent and implementation
At Saviour, we believe that learning another language is an incredibly valuable educational, social and cultural experience for children. It raises awareness of our multicultural world and introduces children to what life is like in Spain and other countries that speak Spanish.
All children learn Spanish as part of the school curriculum. Lessons are delivered for thirty minutes on a weekly basis with our specialist language teacher. Children will acquire the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills that lay the foundation for future language learning at high school. With games, mime, role play, songs and stories, we make our Spanish lessons as interactive and immersive as possible.
