Governors
Governors meet regularly and work closely alongside the senior leadership team to ensure the ethos of the school is upheld and all children are receiving a quality education. School governors oversee the strategic direction of the school and make sure that policies, budgets, and staffing are maintained and held to a high standard. Members are drawn from the church, local community, school staff and parents, bringing a range of skills and experience with them.
The governing body consist of 13 members, 8 foundation governors, the headteacher, 1 staff governor and 2 parent governors and a Local authority governor. As a voluntary aided school the governing body has a majority of foundation governors who are additionally committed to support and promote the Christian foundation on which the school was established.
